COF'06

The 2006 China Outsourcing Fair (COF'06) was held on September 11-19, 2006, with feature activities of conference, exhibition and road show of oversea attendee in the cities of China. COF'06 would be the Top China Outsourcing Conference in the world in 2006.
It was approved by MOFCOM (China Ministry of Commerce), organized be CIMC
(China International Institute of Multinational Co-operations), supported by CEC
(China Enterprises Confederation) and NOA (the National Outsourcing Association), EOA (the European Outsourcing Association). The Global Business Process Outsourcing market is growing at an amazing speed, and is expected to reach $1 trillion by the end of 2006. Meta group says that: 80% of companies want to outsource, yet 70% of managers do not have knowledge to do so. In the next 10-15 years, it is expected that the outsourcing business volume of office software development, financial analysis system, IT, and BPO will be five times the current level and will save 60% labor cost per year for the enterprises and organizations. COF'06 would provide an opportunity for outsourcing service providers, users, government delegated, and outsourcing researchers to communicates and establish a cooperative relationship network via COF'06's business negotiations forms.

Supported by Shenzhen government, China Outsourcing Fair 2005 (COF'05) was held in Shenzhen Hi-Tech Exhibition Center in June 2005. Meanwhile, held together with COF'05, 2005 Outsourcing Forum also obtained strong support from Chinese Ministries of Commerce, Science and Technology, Communication, UN, foreign consulates in China, overseas outsourcing institutions and associations, which delegates have made wonderful speeches at the forum. To strengthen both parties' cooperation, they also signed several multinational strategic cooperation agreements with the COF'05 organizing committee after the forum, and decided to establish an outsourcing business platform, aiming at providing service for outsourcing buyers and vendors via carrying out yearly fixed and non-fixed int'l activities, business exchanging visiting, and business matching services. China Outsourcing Fair 2006 (COF'06) would be the extension of COF'05 and a very good starting of this platform. It was also would become a more important and fruitful beneficial activity to integrate Chinese and int'l resources together.

COF'06 aimed to stimulate global outsourcing development. It would guide potential buyers on how to employ outsourcing and make use of this global resource to increase their enterprises' benefits. Up to now, many countries have become popular international outsourcing destinations, such as India, Ireland, Israel, Russia, China & Philippines. However, because of geographical differences, temporal differences, cultural diversity, language barriers, and differing laws/regulations, the communication between the vendors and buyers are few and far between, which hinders fruitful. Another aim of COF'06 was to eliminate the difficulties between the vendors and buyers, and provide them an opportunity to understand the Chinese market and get to know Chinese vendors' abilities for service provision.

Starting from Beijing, COF'06 would lead the international outsourcing buyers and investors to visit China Economic Development Regions and enjoy their culture and sight-seeing in 10 days. Two representative China cities would be selected to be the most important Road-show destinations. They would exhibit their international competitive advantages to the world guests and media in Information Technology, Software Development, Scientific & Technical Investment and Cooperation, and Government Support, etc.

All the Road-show would be sponsored by the local governments, and included nearby cities to create greater face-to-face talking opportunities between the vendors, buyers, advisers, government officers, industrial leaders, researchers. Meanwhile, China government would provide information that would allow these world buyers to enjoy Chinese culture and custom.
