Zsoft launches China-Japan software outsourcing platform

Zhongguancun Software Association (Zsoft), a Beijing-based non-profit software industry association, has launched a China-Japan Software Outsourcing Platform to boost China's software outsourcing business for Japanese markets. This announcement was made at the Third 2006 Zhongguancun Software Outsourcing Summit on July 19.

The platform offers eight categories of service in project, talent, communication, commodity, brand awareness enhancement, business travel, industry intelligence and financing.

Zsoft said the platform is expected to bring profits and latest technologies to software companies in Zhongguancun, the so-called Silicon Valley in China, and also lower the cost for them to make inroads into Japanese markets. Additionally, the platform will help Japanese small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) to find partners in China.

The Japanese markets account for 60 per cent of Chinese outsourcers' total revenues. The Japan-oriented platform has already begun the operation. Japanese companies donated offices and personnel expenses to help establish a liaison office in Japan to facilitate communication between two countries.
