Software Sale Growth to Average 16.1 Percent

Domestic software sales are expected to grow by an average of 16.1 percent annually from 2006 to 2010, CCID Consulting said.

The Beijing-based research firm under the Ministry of Information Industry forecast in an annual report that the size of the market would hit 120 billion Yuan (US$14.79 billion) in 2010. Last year, software sales stood at 56.47 billion Yuan, up 17.9 percent.
