East China Software Export to Surpass Northeast, Says Analyst

Domestic software outsourcing market will grow to nearly $30 billion by 2009

Analysys International (AI), a provider of business information about technology, media and the telecom industry in China, says domestic software outsourcing market in the country will grow at a compounded growth rate of 35.6% - from $8.71 billion in 2005 to $29.43 billion in 2009.

AI's latest report on the software outsourcing market (offshore), says North China, Northeast China and East China will become the main drivers of the China software outsourcing market during this period.

Yang Qingfeng, research director of Analysys International says, ''The obvious locational advantage of Eastern China, along with its tight relationship with Japan , the USA and EU will help to accelerate the growth. The outsourcing revenue of the Eastern China area, centered around Shanghai and the Yangtze River Delta, will surpass Northeast China by 2009.
