The 4th Electronics manufacturing Expo (eMEX) began last Wednesday in Suzhou, East China's Jiangsu Province. The Expo lasted four days, and ended on 22nd this month. It aimed to be the top electronics exhibition in China from both scale and the number of multinational participants.
Because of the rapid development of the global IT industry, and speedy growth of the Information Industry along the Yangtze River Delta, the Expo hoped to build on this by displaying products, and by providing information about exchanges, procurement, sales and cooperation between global IT enterprises.
From the following reasons, the Expo was the top IT fair countrywide:
According to the statistic, there were about 60, 000 professional participants and 60,000 ordinary people attending.
It attracted more multinationals than other similar expositions in China.
The amount of technology on display from large companies led other IT shows in China.
Many influential and bid-name companies participated.
The vice-minister of the Ministry Commerce, Wei Jianguo, said the eMEX is really the most important electronics information exhibition for global IT manufacturers.
