Chinese and Indian Software Entrepreneurs Convene to Discuss Cooperation

A group of Chinese and Indian software entrepreneurs held a round-table meeting at the end of last month to discuss mutual cooperation.

The meeting was held by the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Information Industry.

During this meeting, the National Association of Software and Service Companies of India and 26 leading Indian software companies held in-depth talks with leaders of 40 Chinese software companies.

China and India have complementary advantages in a range of areas including software technology, human resources, customer service experience and corporate management, said an official with the NDRC, China's economic planning agency.

China expects to strengthen cooperation in software and IT service sectors with India for mutual benefit, said the official.
