China Has Its Own Linux Industry Strategic Alliance

Last week, the China Linux Industry Strategic Alliance was formed formally.

With the auspices of the Electronic Products Management Division of the Ministry of Information Industry, sponsored by the Center for Software and Integrated Circuit Promotion, the Alliance falls.

The 1st group members of the Alliance are: Linux operating system distributors like Red Flag, S2C and Xinhua Technology, as well as 60 other technology manufactures including Founder, Tsinghua Tong Fang and Digital China.

The Alliance's mission is to build Linux application support service systems and to set up an active Linux industry in China.
