Huatek Software Engineering Company, Ltd. (http://www.huatek.com) is seeking motivated Computer Science / Engineering undergraduates and recent graduates looking for challenging work opportunities in their Xi'an, China office. The internship program provides a unique opportunity to gain experience and insight into China's business environment. As China's role and impact on the global stage expands, commanding an accurate grasp of its business culture is an increasingly valuable asset.

Responsibilities

Huatek interns will work on a variety of engagements, typically participating in an internal software development project. Responsibilities may include product enhancement, new feature development, quality assurance testing, and documentation. Additional duties may include assisting marketing with English communications, writing proposals, conducting client and industry research, and participating in the development of new business processes and practices. Starting and ending dates are flexible.

Requirements

Ideal candidates should have completed at least three years of study in a technical major such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering and have a strong programming background Chinese language proficiency is useful but not required. Huatek can refer interested students to a Chinese language education program for evening or weekend classes. Proficiency in English is required.

Compensation

Interns receive free housing and utilities in a modern service apartment. A stipend to cover additional living expenses is also included Interns will need to arrange their own transportation to China.
